Description |
Gone , Gone. & Gone?
In the Age of Foam, before the Fall,
There stood a beer — the Chosen Tall.
It fizzed with might, it shone with pride,
Then someone drank it. And it died.
We rose from froth, with vengeful grace,
Our hearts half-empty — just like the case.
No gods, no kings, just missing ale,
We sail through war on a drunken whale.
Our scrolls are napkins, stained and torn,
Our prophecies were made at dawn.
We do not plan. We mostly scream.
And blame each loss on a lager dream.
Some seek glory. Some seek gold.
We seek the beer that once was cold.
Gone is the name. Regret is the game.
And somewhere… someone’s still to blame.
